in a room full of stuffy people and make people ask “who is that girl”. In terms of looks she just has a timeless quality and is one of the most exciting girls. She has just started modeling full time and has already shot for British Vogue and Love, and stars in music videos for Bryan Ferry and Coco Sumner. Cara also sings like an angel and has been in the studio putting tracks down for a future release.”

Delevingne is currently the face of Burberry’s Spring/Summer 2012 campaign alongside actor Eddie Redmayne, shot by Mario Testino. Cara tells the Telegraphy, “Obviously it was amazing, and I’ve become friends with everybody who did both campaigns. The shoot was a joy. Working with Mario Testino was a joy. He’s very young spirited, and it’s always lovely and a pleasure to spend time talking to him about all different things.”…. “… Looking back I thought it would be really scary, but it actually felt so normal on set. It was the beginning of a chapter for me, a breakout shoot.” Also, she was recently described by British Vogue as the “star face” of the autumn/winter 2012-2013 shows, having walked the runway for brands such as Shiatzy Chen, Jason Wu, Oscar de la Renta, Burberry, Dolce & Gabbana, Fendi, Stella McCartney and Chanel.

Cara Delevingne is the granddaughter of former English Heritage boss Sir Jocelyn Stevens, daughter of personal shopper Pandora Delevingne and Charles Delevingne, a property developer, and sister to model Poppy Delevingne. Cara tells the Telegraph, “Poppy has always been so supportive to me. It was strange in the beginning with both us working in the same industry, but she has always helped me and is always there for me with advice. It helps that we are both quite similar people, and we are very close.” Cara grew up in a Belgravia mansion, and attended the independent Bedales School. In addition to modeling, Cara plays the drums, sings and writes acoustic songs.

Tree AbbeyLee Kershaw’s cK One confession, page 3

†REE NEWS

cK One - Abbey

In the cK One box Abbey discusses modeling and her childhood; she states how modeling has never been problematic or perplexing for her. She trusts this is because as an adolescent she spent a lot of time imaging being a part of a different world; spending a lot of time in her bedroom, dancing around to music, climbing trees, having imaginary friends and imaging a world that didn’t exist. Kershaw defines modeling as an unalike world and says that modeling puts her in a state where she isn’t herself anymore, and where she is asked to transform which comes natural to her - she likes to pretend she is someone else and escape every now and then.

She convinced herself that she could make it in the industry and an episode of E! True Hollywood Story educated her that a modeling salary could mean a better life for her and her family.

In 2007 Smalls went to New York City and signed with Elite Model Management beginning her career headlining the fall 2007 Tory Burch presentation in New York. That season she introduced herself see pg. 2

In 2009 Smalls changes her representation from Elite Model Management to IMG Models. Since, IMG Models has provided Smalls with opportunities to build the rewarding career she’s been profound to have since her most primitive days in Puerto Rico e.g. making a breakthrough in January 2010, being chosen by Givenchy’s creative director, Riccardo Tisci, to walk in the spring couture show in Paris as an exclusive.

The demand for Smalls increased, and in the see pg. 4

Furthermore, Smalls featured in a number of high-profile magazines in 2010 being photographed by industry-praised photographer Steven for Vogue and David Sims for French Vogue.

June 2011 Smalls featured in the 2012 Givenchy resort collection where creative director Riccardo Tisci turns his models into trees using tropical-flower prints, vivid bird of paradise patterns, dark greens and boxy tees bedecked with huge blooms; Giventree.
